What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of relaxed and highly focused attention.

Hypnosis happens when your brain produces alpha waves, when your mind is so deeply relaxed your brain waves slow down to 8-13 HZ, you pass through Alpha state when you are just about to fall asleep or waking up.

It is not uncommon to be in hypnosis during the day we call this daydreaming. Hypnosis is where imagination happens where your mind is highly suggestible, you are more aware of your surroundings, many find from this state you can access your creative genius and your subconscious mind.

What are the long term effects?

Often my clients report a sense of lasting peace and well being after each session.

They have great success in permanently making the mental, emotional, or behavioral changes they wish to make.

The effects of healing past trauma and releasing old patterns can open you up to living a more fulfilled purposeful life, deeper emotional connection with others, exploding self confidence, unconditional LOVE for yourself and others.

Can Hypnosis work for me?

To make hypnosis possible and successful, it is important that you make up your mind about bringing change into your life. If you have set your mind to believe that change is not possible, it will be hard for you to benefit from hypnotherapy.

I will ask you questions first to gain some insight into your problem and the trigger for the behavior or mental state you would like to change.

If you set the intention that this will work then it will!

While in hypnosis I will give you positive empowering, uplifting suggestions and phrases for you to repeat to yourself daily to reinforce the work we are doing. This helps your brain solidify the new neural pathways we are to creating, just like learning a new skill the more you practice the easier and easier it will become.

Will I lose control?

Absolutely not! Hypnotherapy is a way of giving you more control, not less.

You cannot be hypnotized unwillingly, and you cannot be prompted to do something that is outside of your moral code or say or reveal anything you do not want to.
